Consolidate Credit Cards / Credit Card Collector
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Responsible for collecting delinquent/ consolidate credit cards accounts from ten to 180 days past due via manual phone contact and an auto dialer. Also will be responsible for consolidate credit cards and handling customer service issues on accounts referred to collections that are not past due. Responsible for reducing delinquency/ consolidate credit cards and subsequent losses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
•70% -Handle both inbound and outbound calls for consolidate credit cards
•30% -Consolidate credit cards and document payment arrangements, provide customer service where
necessary, perform research where necessary and minimal skip tracing where necessary.
EDUCATION: High-school diploma or GED equivalent
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE: General understanding of how to use a PC Expertise to type 35 wpm Quick thinking expertise to handle multiple tasks at a time Strong Negotiation Skills for consolidate credit cards
Consolidate credit cards entails taking out one loan to pay off many others. This is often done to secure a lower interest rate, secure a fixed interest rate or for the convenience of servicing only one loan.
Consolidate credit cards can simply be from a number of unsecured loans into another unsecured loan, but more often it involves a secured loan against an asset that serves as collateral, most commonly a house or consolidate credit cards . In this case, a mortgage is secured against the house. The collateralization of the loan allows a lower interest rate than without it, because by collateralizing, the asset owner agrees to allow the forced sale (foreclosure) of the asset to pay back the loan. The risk to the lender is reduced so the interest rate offered is lower.
Sometimes, consolidate credit cards companies can discount the amount of the loan. When the debtor is in danger of bankruptcy, the debt consolidator will buy the loan at a discount. A prudent debtor can shop around for consolidators who will pass along some of the savings. Consolidation can affect the ability of the debtor to discharge debts in bankruptcy, so the decision to consolidate credit cards must be weighed carefully.
